Miffed by Lego Batman being shite, though. Kids were also unimpressed - "it was too easy and it wasnt very funny", to quote Quatlet.

I'm seeing Twelfth Night in a couple of weeks and I am so excited. It's my favourite Shakespeare and I bet Greig will be terrific.

It was the school play when i was in UIII so we had to watch it, atfer a quick explanation of the plot. By the interval we were totally lost and didnt think the shipwreck had yet happened.

I confess to having no idea who Grieg is apart from some name from the telly, but passing the poster going up the escalator at Colliers Wood was one of those moments when I remember yes, I really am queer as fuck. Which was not my answer to the Quatling who went "Mummy! Why did you make that noise?"!

My friend bunnypip has run workshops on queering Shakespeare so Ive read and seen a fair bit of TN, just never the whole thing. I doubt itll surpass The Tempest in my affections though - top perfs from some students at Edinburgh who condensed it to half an hour, and the one starring Patrick Stewart and Julian Bleach. Very different but both mesmerising drama.

Oh, wow, those both sound amazing!

My first 12th Night viewing was on Brownsea Island on a summer evening, so it's always been associated with magic and loveliness for me. Plus, swordfights!
