I think the only things I liked about your application was the fact that you like Jane Eyre and The Shins. I agree with taihenneko... if anything, it'd be snob.

You seem like an interesting person in person, but you're just coming off as a snob in your application.
You haven't elaborated at all on, well, anything that's been asked of you. The opinions questions are supposed to be that, your opinions on certain matters, and I know very little of you from what I've read.

Also, a lot of people don't have the opportunity to experience different cultures, so shoving things down their throat about how they're ungrateful does relatively nothing except make you come off as a snob.
