The Begininngs of a Photo Journal.
Just 4 pictures this time, resized and optimized so that it won't take so long to load.
Before anything else, Camiguin is this little island made up of seven volcanoes found in Mindanao, Philippines. One side of my family originated there so we go there once a year to visit all these old people (who I don't know and who don't konw me either) which is why my grandfather decided to built a resthouse there. there used to be no signal for our cellphones but thankfully there is now. Though there still isn't any internet connection anywhere near the resthouse, I didn't really mind the last time I was there which was April 28-May 1.
Anyway, on to the pictures.
This is the long-ass driveway of our rest house in the volcanic island of Camiguin. It takes me 2 minutes to walk from one end to the other. At the sides are a shit load of mango trees and lanzones trees and a bunch of other fruit bearing trees. One day we will cultivate this place and export fruits but for now we just have some people up to climb them when we want to have a taste.
This is the gate to the beachfront. I dunno why I took it; I just thought it would make a good picture. Since Camiguin is a volcanic island, the sand isn't white. And the shoreline is LONG. I can spend hours walking in one direction. It's my favorite place. Too bad I'm not really allowed to walk around on my own which totally defeats the purpose of walking around to get away from people.
This is our little pool which has been around 2 years or something but I have yet to actually swim in it. I hate swimming. It was supposed to be mango-shaped but it looks like a deformed oval. ::shakes head::
Coconut trees. There's a shitload of those here. Taken while I was soaking my feet in the pool. That's how bored I was.
End.
