Notwithstanding the occasional crash, bicycling is much more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we've moved into the dark part of the year and the bicycle is pretty much out until the beginning of March. I'm not germ-phobic so much, but as you can tell I don't like getting jammed up by someone who I haven't pre-screened.
Melissa gets gloves for Christmas! Pretty, delicate leather ones that protect her hands from a)nasty poles and b)creepy people.
Seriously. Gloves are underrated. And in the wintertime you can TOTALLY get away with them. In the summer you'll have to switch to the crocheted yarn type, which offer less protection from the vagaries of everyday life. But I can loan you a pair to try out. :-)
You know, I never thought of wearing gloves except for in the winter. Elle gave me a lovely pair of dainty, red leather ones last Christmas (which I, incidentally, can't find amongst my fall and winter clothing...) that would be perfectly appropriate in the fall. Thanks for the suggestion! :)
