How adorable is that opening image?? *hearts* I really like James's train of thought, too; it feels like you've gotten into his mind. This is just PERFECT: The flames played shadows over us, too merry for my thoughts.

OMG, poor Jack. You aren't going to let more bad stuff happen to him, are you? I love James's 'you're not going anywhere'. <3

Oh, I am glad! I was worried it got a little introspective. But I think I've kind of got an idea of where the whole thing's going now. Which is good. Also, I'm very glad the "you're not going anywhere bit" worked.
I'm sure I will- it sounds like it's going to be awesome. The first week we're working with PhD students, collecting data and stuff. And the second week we're going scuba diving.
