I've seen it. It was good. Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman remain, as ever, two of the most amazing actors I have ever had the pleasure to watch.
I'll try and put up a longer post later. and talk about it a little more, but there's one thing I wanted to say right now, and it is the one thing that annoys me about this movie.
(
Spoilers for how the movie treats a particular scene. )

Actually, don't answer that. I am going to hold all my judgement until Thursday, when a friend and I go to the double-feature of Parts 1 and 2 at the AMC, and then I will flail and squee at you like the wild flailing lunatic I am. :P
(And although I know you probably meant "Luna", I am now having the best image in my head of Obscurus Lupa fighting in the Final Battle in her Snow White costume, complete with leather jacket and fancy machine gun. ;))

THIS MOVIE WAS FANTASTIC. IT WAS. I AGREE WITH YOU ON THE FRED THING - AND I HAVE TO ADD, WHAT WAS DEAN THOMAS DOING THERE ALREADY IN THE SCHOOL? BOY THINKS HE'S A MUGGLEBORN, EVEN IF HIS BIO-DAD WAS A WIZARD, AND HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE RUN WITH TED AND THE GOBLINS - BUT HOLY HELL, THIS IS WHAT THESE MOVIES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALL ALONG. AND THE SCENE WITH HARRY AND HIS PARENTS? I WAS ALREADY SNIFFLING FROM THE DEAD LINED UP IN THE GREAT HALL AND FROM SNAPE'S MEMORY SEQUENCE, BUT SEEING REMUS, AND SIRIUS, AND HIS PARENTS...THAT BROKE ME. MY COLD ROBOT HEART WARMED UP ENOUGH FOR ME TO SHED SOME TEARS.
I TOLD YOU I WOULD FLAIL AND SQUEE, SO I HAVE, AND I'M GOING TO BED NOW BEFORE I GO COMPLETELY OFF THE DEEP END WITH THIS COMMENT. APOLOGIES FOR THE SHOUTING, LOVE. GOOD-NIGHT! :D
