I guess I'm lucky, in that I have my religion, but I agree with nouv_ella. There are so many amazing things in the world that seem like pure magic.

You could maybe take a camera? I have a book called 'an explorer's guide to the world' which is a catalogue of the simple things in life like different sands and dirt etc. You could go for a walk and take photos and go 'this is special!'
