First of all, many happy returns to st_crispins on her rather belated birthday! I suspect I've missed a number of other birthdays, too, since I last posted a few months ago - hope they were all good ones :) Thanks to eldritchhobbit and agentxpndbleI do feel somewhat guilty about not posting in months - I've been wrangling with writing an entry for weeks but keep being tied up with ( Read more... )

*salutes you with half empty bottle of Sprite*

Did you gentlemen caller mention our vague plans from when he ran into me the other night? AKA, do absolutely nothing on Tuesday except possibly eat and be nerdy after finals? I think everyone is done by Tuesday night.

So good to hear from you! *waves*
Congrats and best of luck to you as you begin your graduate studies. Enjoy!

Lately I've been wondering about all those other lives I've could've inhabited but have willingly relinquished to the tail ends of the probability curve.

I guess it's human nature to wonder where we'd be if we'd have chosen Door Number Three, but *shrugs* every day there's another damn door.

I'm excited and happy for you, for the possibilities your future holds. I loved your thoughtful, reflective post, and am glad to hear from you again. Please tell all regarding "gentleman caller." Inquiring minds want to know.

"In other news, it's been six years and nine days since my friend Cathy passed away, and it's the first time when I can honestly say I'm at peace with what happened to her."

Can I just say how tremendously happy I am to hear this? Not to disregard your other accomplishments, but I know how much what happened to Cathy has haunted you over the years.

In sum, I'm actually quite content with my life as it is now and my imagined, prospective future.

That is a wonderful place to be. It's great to hear from you! And best wishes with your godparents and "gentleman caller"... :)

So glad to hear from you! I am glad that things seem to be positive with you, if stressful (it's finals week, and nothing turns me into a depressed, chain-smoking alcoholic faster... except I quit smoking a year ago, so I know how you feel ( ... )
