[Mello has been studying himself until a few minutes ago. His bag slung over his shoulder he notices the lights on in one of the lab rooms, and pulls open the door... from what he's seen the creeper trio had gone home already, and they wouldn't be in the chemistry rooms anyway... but he's curious. So, he takes a look. Hear him opening the door/notice him looking at you?]

[ She hears the door opening, and turns around to look! Have a friendly smile. ]

assuming they know each other from rifle club.

Hey Esther. ... are you... aware what time it is?

[he's still leaning against the doorframe, looking kind of tired himself.]

[ Even though she already knows, Esther looks to the clock again. ]

Yeah...I do. I was just trying to finish at least part of a paper before I left.

[ She stifles a yawn. ]

You look pretty tired. Were you working on an assignment as well?

[ You didn't really think Dietrich wouldn't come find you right? Can't you use the distraction anyway? ]

A school is for studying and learning.

[ Esther turns around in her chair and gives him a small smile. ]

Don't you have any work to do?

[ He chuckles for a brief moment and -- oh you're being serious? ]

Mh? Esther of course I've already finished. Easy simple things -- this school is boring and simple. I have no studying to do. [ A 'cheerful' note of boredom as he sits down next to her, innocently peering at her work ]

School.. it takes up too much time, don't you think?

[ Her smile turns into a bit of a frown. ]

This may not be the best school, but you don't have to insult it like that. It's better than nothing.

[ She picks up her pen again, looking frustrated as she stares at her outline. ]

It may take up a lot of time, but it's definitely worth it.

[There is a quiet WUMPF from one of the biology rooms, followed by a string of inventive curses. Himiko runs by, desperately looking for something. When she sees Esther, her face drops.]

There wasn't supposed to be anyone in here!

[And she rushes over, pulling a rag out of one labcoat pocket.]

Don't breath! Its really, really important that you don't breath any of the perfumes in!

[ Well, that didn't sound good. ]

What do you mean?! I didn't see a sign or...!

[ akdsjfsd She quickly covers her noise and mouth and heads for the door, abandoning her books. ]

One of my perfume experiments went wrong. I'm not sure what this one does, so it'd be best if you don't breath any of it.
