Back from camping now. I love spending time in woods hiking, canoeing, and basically getting back to nature for a bit. It helps keep me balanced, especially when things get crazy chaotic like they have been. The list goes on and on, though admittedly, I've not felt much like putting it all out there cuz it sounds way too overwhelming that way. ( Read more... )

I never did ask before, but...why did you move and where do you live now?

Like you, I enjoy watching the sun show up and saying good morning to the world.

I moved for many reasons. The most pressing being that when I first moved into my house years ago, it was quiet, not much traffic, and I lived across from a farm. In recent years, the town has pretty much allowed unrestricted growth, which has popped up new housing developments like crazy, taxing an infrastructure soooooo not designed to handle it. Traffic has become both a time and noise annoyance. The person who owned the farm passed away, and a church bought the property and it's been nothing but a nightmare ever since as they are not inclined to respect that they are in a residential area ( ... )
