So...I know I haven't been here in ages. The hiatus was much-needed, and a lot of changes ensued. Probably the biggest is I stopped trying to convince myself that I was immortal (a serious injury will do that) and after flirting with retirement off and on for quite some time, I finally did so. I'm still here. Still reading everyone's posts.

I love nature, animals in particular. To be honest I actually prefer animals to humans in most cases. It's fascinating that you get to work on Discovery Channel programing. I don't watch much TV but what I do watch is almost all on the channels you mentioned. I'm obviously a big fan of Animal Planet.

Howdy, stranger! Sure, I'm hanging about still. Not posting overly much, but I'm always watching. /Always/.

And yay for new jobs! I got me one of those too, at a company specializing in web development. Broadened my knowledge quite a bit, and it pays better than anything else I ever did, so I'm feeling pretty accomplished myself. ^_^

I don't get on here too much other than to wish people a Happy Birthday. I'm so incredibly happy for you. I'd wondered what you'd been up to. I shared some of your writing with a friend recently and he was thoroughly impressed.
