So I was talking with mysticxf this morning and we were talking about Jack's flashes during the finale and when looking at a shot of the glass scene from I Do in his flashes, we noticed it took on a whole new meaning. I remember when that scene aired, even though it was in SUCH a horrible episode for Jaters, we realized how much of a deeper meaning it

This is beautiful. I totally agree with your point about the scene where the glass was separating them being in his flashes in the finale, and why. And the quotes... *sigh* This reminds me why I adore Jate so much.

This is beautiful. I have over-used that word so much this week for Jate but there is no other word, they and their story are just beautifully tragic and complex in ways like this, that you don't even think of at first. EPIC SHIP IS EPIC.

They chose that scene because even with everything else that happened in that episode, it is so OBVIOUS where the real connection is, in the first seconds, before their is even any dialog. The looks and the body language says it all.

I always liked the mirroring in this show, and them do it with Jack & Kate more then with any other characters.

I love every Jate line, but the strangest thing happened to me not so long ago. Even though I heard it like a million times, in the lines: ¨I told you not to come back here for me. But I will come back here for you¨
he is telling her that he will still do what he told her not to, to protect her.
Maybe I´m stupid for not seeing it before, or maybe it´s just that the way Jack whispers it in her ear made me unable to focus on anything else :)
