In which I hate on Harlequin again

Although they've been kind enough to have me over for an interview, I'm still trying to think whether I could in good conscience work for Harlequin. Granted, I'd be working with the more mainstream and fantasy lines, which appear to have decent enough writing and are more or less free of snark bait as compared to their sisters in the straight-up

Not that you were really asking for advice, but if this is the only concern about this job, I would opt for the job. You are unlikely to find an employer that does not suck in one way or another (usually, they suck in both ways). I hesitate to rank suckage in absolute terms, but this does not seem maximally egregious to me.

You're absolutely right, and I can't give up the valuable experience the job would provide. If I'm offered the job, I'll take it.
