Oh, I heart L.M. Montgomery so much. I learned, and continue to learn, a whole lot about many things by reading her.

Congratulations! And Emily of New Moon=goodness. I had a friend at Davidson who sorta had pointed ears. :) And she had read Emily, so she managed to appreciate it when I told her that.

congratulations on your escape! your new job seems like it'll be lovely, even if I'm a little scared of that cardboard Spike standee. I haven't reread any LMM for a couple of years, but I liked her work a lot as a child and enjoyed seeing it from a different perspective five and then ten years later.
