So where is this interview?

It's a design position with HarperCollins; I'm pretty sure I've got the skillz (they called, after all) but publishing houses are notoriously hard to get into, and oh god I'm positive I've jinxed it just talking to you, argh argh argh.

I think I'll take your advice on the red shoes, though. My red shoes are my favorites.

They're nothing special: cheap kitten-heeled crimson pumps from Payless, and the toe of the left is already badly scuffed, but I've always wanted red shoes. <3
