Aha! I knew it!

I woke up this morning with a dead fly on my pillow. This would be more disturbing rather than particularly notable  if I hadn’t predicted this occurrence before I fell asleep.

It started like this. After I had been in bed for between ten and fifteen minutes, a fly zoomed past my face in the dimly lit darkness of my bedroom. Then it went quiet. ( Read more... )

I think a cat would sort out your problem...the one around here grabs flies no problem...

The fly thing's already been done anyway. ;)Ew--I am currently listening to a literature course on CD and The Fly was one of the stories focused upon. I get all the symbolism and all but YIKES, that was pretty gross.

I hear ya. I find it hard to learn something when there's something squicky in the content. I don't like to think about flies too hard, especially their charming vomiting habits. :)

I've have been up and dealing with the problem if I thought it was one of them. (wasps, right?) I had one of those in my car yesterday. I stepped out and waited politely for it to leave. OK, I helped it decide to go with a cushion. :)
