One up, two down.

I have spent something like three hours tonight searching for a memory stick and a set of keys.  Fruitlessly. I am fairly fed up because well, my memory stick’s got lots of my stuff on it, and, the set of keys are for work. The only positive in all this is that I’m fairly certain everything is still in the house. But I have no idea where, and I’ve ( Read more... )

Here's to hoping you found them!

Yea! On the Synopsis....maybe you were meant to stay home today to write?

Halfway there. Oh, I would so love a day or two off to write, or even to get ahead of work generated paperwork, but no, others have keys. I can get in. I just can't lock up so I must make sure not to be last in the building. Easy for me. :)

Thank you. I would comment on your own synopsis woes but you have comments off, so I won't. ;)

One of the problems with those tiny flash disks. Way too easy to lose. But it's cool when you find something neat like that. I love going through my old notebooks. So many ideas that never came to be.

*One of the problems with those tiny flash disks. Way too easy to lose.*

I know. I lose my mobile every so often and I just ring it with the land-line. I also lose the land-line very occasionally and ring it with the mobile. :)I want all my small stuff to be ringable. It's very frustrating when it stays all silent and mysterious.

*So many ideas that never came to be.*

But they will be,Justin. They will be. :)

Steam Dragon is a nice title anyways, you could still use it.

It's catch-22 whether taking notes for stories in case you forget them is a good idea or not[not what you were saying, just a thought based on what u said]; on the 1 hand, sure, you can forget an idea and it's worth making a note to remember. otoh, I am also a believer that if an idea is good or a theme is important, it will always surface again somewhere down the line. And also, one shouldn't be afraid of losing stories like there's only a finite amount of them in the world. There are thousands, all the time every day everywhere.
going back to something you once worked on long ago? I don't know. Sometimes time reveals it was only a temporary infatuation. Some stories just won't let go of you no matter how many times you think you are done with them forever.

And don't Some stories just won't let go of you no matter how many times you think you are done with them forever.

I know this is true.I've just been and had a look in the trunk. :)
I feel certain though that I wouldn't Harv remembered that one without finding the notes. It just felt so completely alien on rereading. Anyway, glad it's mine.

Hi there. Yes, I know I've been bad about updating, but I am alive, :) and well. I've been working on my writing discipline which I'm peased to say is improving dspite the fact that writing seems to be getting harder. What's up with that? :)

Must update soon. How are things with you. Loving the new place?

Hey! I do love the new place. I'm gradually chipping away at the library course and I'm sticking to my no writing rule while I'm doing the course, but I am doing a lot of reading. I'm looking forward to your next update!

A no writing rule when you're busy is very wise. Reading is part of the process, a really nice part. ;)
