Well, I am actually sorted for the holidays, in that I have bought everything that needs to be bought. Still haven't decorated the house yet. Maybe tomorrow. Or maybe I'll go for a minimalist Christmas. Granny O Grimm would approve ( Read more... )

I loved these youtube thingies! Well, my connection started pooping out midway through the Sleeping Beauty one, but they're the funniest things I've seen all year :).

I hope you managed to get everything going for Christmas, and what didn't make it is fine, too, perfect! All the things you mentioned for sure :)

Merry Christmas!

Christmas was the usual round of ups and downs, but it all came good in the end.

The sleeping Beauty one is a grower.I love the little fairy that said "I thought you were dead," to her. It's a beautiful observation of how the young (some of them) see the old. That company have made some hilarious films. The humour is very Irish based though so I'm glad you got it. :)

Those were great! Too funny. I didn't decorate my apartment for Christmas and my mom did the minimal. Something about this Christmas just seemed a bit off. I had a great time, saw lots of movies, went the theater, ate lots of food. But it never really felt like Christmas. Hmm. It also doesn't feel like it's been 10 years since all of that "Stock pile your garage, computers will crash and the world will end." business.

Yup, it was a very unChristmassy Christmas here too. And now the roads are too dangerous to drive on much and it's just flipping annoying. Roll on Spring. :)

*Stock pile your garage, computers will crash and the world will end."*

Aren't we doing that again in 2012?

I suppose we are. But this time it's for real. I mean come on what the Mayans say is gospel. ;)

The Mayans and the Gospels are an irresistible combination. I know I'll be slipping in some extra tinned goods into my shopping trolley every week. That and renewing my RL friendships for when the Internet crashes and burns. :)
