Another Knitting Rant
You are NOT doing it wrong if you are holding the needles comfortably, making the stitches so they look like the "picture" or come out to your satisfaction. It matters NOT if you knit English or Continental or some bastardization in between (as I do) . Find what is comfortable for you, learn it, love it and love what you are creating ( Read more... ) -
Monday morning babbling
Weekends are always so.. well they are filled with running errands and what not.
This weekend was rather calm and relaxing. Best part was spending Sunday at Blue Owl Books.
Started Saturday night on a sweater for Div, one because she needed it and two because I took her to the knitting class I taught on Sunday.

ahhh, Friday morning in the mountains....
Woke this morning to sun coming over the peak or the "hill" across the street, glistening on the snow draping the evergreens. Couldn't be more beautiful.

Bob knitting... Day 3
So we took a day off and now, cable cast on , check ,knit st, check, purl st, check. Swatch for socks started. Fortissima Colori .

Teaching Bob to knit. He's making merino socks!
Muttering and talking to the yarn and needles as he has ( and so cool ) has gotten the cable cast on.
