Anne's Thought

Sep 28, 2004 17:26

Anne had begun inquiring, over the past several years, as to why the sky turned perpetually blacker each day. Furthermore-not just in the winter-but in the summer it still held the same greasy mist that hazed the air, and still blocked a full inhale from satisfying the body. She was noticing her surroundings, as young girls do, and she saw that it ( Read more... )

Can I spend my life on your mountain? And when the eternal nothing comes to claim me, I will let my body come back to the earth yet again. Wating for the day when the light may come slowly back to the day, to the sky, to the minds of the people. But for now, the day keeps getting darker and the storm of the century beckons the faithful to follow into the choas that will ensue. And nature will kick and scream and we will ride out the storm or be killed in trying. We fall and bring all down around our ankles, but that which we seek to destroy will destroy us first before she succombs to us.
(sorry mike, your writing just moved me so much i had to respond)

wow... um, where do you get all of this, out of no disrespect my contimplated good friend, but my dear, i am baffled almost by your livejournal as a whole. Are these life stories? altering ideas for books? Short stories out of the wandering mind? If they are stories as i so ignorantly assume, than you should be an author. I would publish you, keep your creativness flowing as the rivers... salutations -mary

don't i sound smart too? heh [:

Firstly, yes: you did sound smart, and I believe you are anyway, so I don't find it too baffling (to use your word) to assume that you're a genius :) Secondly, in answer to your question: I love to read live journals, and read whats going on in other's lives...but I decided, when I started my journal, that I would bring something new to the table, and let readers enjoy a thinker-type short story when they desired, instead of reading only the others comments on other's lives. Really, these are comments on life too, but in a story-telling way. So yes, they are life-experiences, short stories, long stories, essays, poems, queries, they're all in here really. I normally just leave it up to the reader to decide what kind each of them are though ;) Thanks for the reply, it helps inspire my next line of thinking.

yes...querie upon querie cannot drive the waves away. and thought upon tumultuous thought will not stop the winds from howling and swarming into tornados, storms of death and destruction, fueled by hatred and revenge. and i would love to come to your mountain, for there is a sacred place. a place of rolling hills, and though thre will be rains and cloudy days, the storms hath stay beyond the barriers of the mind.
