we must bomb them to liberate them! we must free them from ignorance by telling them lies! this is a war of liberation through destruction! this is the american way.
Many have seen their actions as not tyrannica, but as liberating. These are the power mad, the blind, the arrogant, the meglomaniacs. These are the people of history. Too bad we need the distance from an event to see the hypocrisy. You are lucky Mike too see so deeply into what is happening what many others are blind too.

Adolf Hitler WAS a liberator for his people, just no-one elses. He did fantastic things for you if you were a blonde-haired blue-eyed starving German. Nazism, Nationalism...they all add up to a glorification of the Ego on a massive scale, to the exclusion and ultimate oppression of all else.

Yeah, it sounds familiar. When a country's ego and amount of nationalism is surpassed only by its military budget, you have the beginnings of a strictly imperialistic state. It seems that we no longer have the ability to perceive the other side, because we already have the answers made ready for us, enacted by our social, economic, agricultural, environmental and governmental laws that we restrict ourselves to. Waist lines are expanding and intellect is dwindling. In an empire-state, there is only one winner, and it's not the fat, dumb mass of people. It's the rich. And they already have the economic go-ahead to be dumb and fat.
