Did he get you flowers? I told him you're supposed to get flowers when you ask people to a dance, but I don't think he really believed me.

He didn't get me flowers but I don't think I'm a flowers kind of girl, honestly. *She's never thought about it before but huh, yeah, flowers don't seem like something she really wants.*

But they're pretty and they smell good.

I think I'd rather go walk outside?

You can't put a walk outside in a vase in your dorm. *He considers this.* Wait, can you?

Maybe? That could be cool, I'd definitely like that. I don't not like flowers, I just think they're like, fine.

He should get you chocolates at least. That's how you do romance. Flowers and chocolate.

I like chocolate alright. Romance is probably different for everyone though. Like, if granny wanted to be romantic at pops I really don't think flowers and chocolate would work.

Yeah, Grampa Mike doesn't like chocolate.

Yeah, exactly. So it's different.

He drank cocoa with me, though. With cinnamon and cream and vanilla, like Grampa Fred makes.

That's really cool, that sounds great.

They don't make it right at school but Professor Boot said I had to stop interrogating the Elves and it took me all of last term to earn back the points I lost.

You could write down the recipe and give it to them? Or, I guess, maybe ask him to give it to them if you're supposed to be leaving them alone?
