Let's see, my recipe has cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla. It's a very old one, from my grandmother's grandmother at least. Could you sit up, do you think?
*With a bit of a struggle to get himself untangled from the bedspread, and push pillows around, Bolly can sit up. He rubs at his face, and then looks around him in confusion.*
Mmm, not insofar as I'm aware. What's the last thing you remember? We'll see about filling things in a bit. *At his bedside, she sets down water and a steaming cup of chocolate, all optional. Well, the water less so.*
Um. *He has a sudden image of rushing water that he can't connect to anything. Maybe he is thirsty. He looks at the chocolate and then picks up the water and takes a drink of that instead. It doesn't stop the tightness in his chest, but it does make his mouth and throat feel better.* Classes? I had... Herbology last. We were in greenhouse three. And then. *He frowns.* I wanted to go to Hufflepuff, to ask Holden something. But I. Did I go back to Slytherin? *Aubrey was telling him to breathe. The glass shakes a little in his hand.*
He's good at charms. I want to know if there's a common way to make charms go further. There's a spell- *He reaches automatically for his wand, and comes up short, fingers closing on empty air. He looks around the bed for it in confusion.*
Sorry? Yes, absolutely. He's completely fine. *This is hard. "Don't ask the child leading questions" are wonderful instructions, except asking a very confused person anything feels leading.*
We think you had perhaps a panic attack? I'd like to know what happened, but I don't want to confuse or influence you with what I think.
*There's a momentary relief, so much that he doesn't really hear what follows it, but he's still trying to work out why Professor Popa would have his wand and not Professor Boot or. He was sure he'd gone to Hufflepuff. Had he gone in? Was that why Popa had his wand? But. He didn't-*
She was mad about something. Professor Popa. I didn't go in to Hufflepuff. I didn't want her mad at me. My beetles turn into different buttons. So. So I went.
*Where? Slytherin. He must have gone back to Slytherin. Why couldn't he remember that? He left Hufflepuff. He'd had his hand on the wall, counting the rocks. One, two, three, four. And then not rocks. A rug? No, a tapestry.*
I took the shortcut, behind the tapestry of Barnaby Lee, the one with all the dogs on. I don't like that passage much, it's really narrow, but it's the shortest route from Hufflepuff to Slytherin. And I like the dogs. And then. I guess I went in?
*He doesn't remember going in to the common room. It feels more like he stepped into a dark cave. Everything was green and under water
( ... )
*She nods, it makes sense as a narrative up until the details. Panic attacks didn't often come out of nowhere, and she supposes it could've been the passage, it could've been seeing a professor so upset, and yet those don't seem quite right.* Is it alright if I write this down?
Well, it seems like there might've been an incident between some students around the time, and I don't know if any of this will be relevant to that situation, but I suppose it might be.
Huh? *Bolly blinks blearily from where he's curled up on one of the Hospital Wing's beds, barely awake.* Wazzum?

Oh, nothing much, don't mind it. Would you like a hot chocolate?

Make it wrong, *Bolly mumbles.* Gotta. Um. Cinnamon and. Stuff.

Yes, I think you were brought here from Slytherin. What did you mean to ask Holden?
