But it was so pretty! Not that you're not pretty now, but it was pretty and colourful before! I literally just said to Dae-Jung on Saturday how great your hair was.
You could colour it at school and not at home? I've been trying to turn my hair green. Without a wand. It's this whole wandless magic research thing, that part doesn't matter. My point was, lots of people colour their hair at school, and the school only complains when it's super distracting, like constantly changing colour and being super glittery and flashy. So if you look how you dad wants when you're home, and it doesn't matter at school, you should be able to be you at school, right?
Oooh, wait, I should do it. Because then if he asks "Did you colour your hair?" you can say no, and you will be telling the truth. And you didn't ask me, either, I volunteered. It's not your fault if you happen to name a colour you like and then I, unrelatedly to that, happen to cast the Colour-Changing Charm.
This is the green I was trying to make my hair, *Bolly says, and taps his wand against his temple with a clear,* colovaria. *Colour spreads from his wand tip until all his hair is a rich forest green.* I was trying to do it without a wand, but I haven't managed to get anywhere so far. It works pretty good with a wand, though, right?
I will now turn my hair pink. Oh, no, my wand slipped and touched your hair somehow, and it's too late, I'm already saying colovaria. *Magic! Hair! Pink!*
Oh, no! What happened to your hair?!

Oh no! I'm sorry! You look very nice! Um, I'm sure Alfie will like it? Is this helping? Do you want a hug? I'm gonna hug you now, okay? *Bolly hugs!*

[She hugs him back.] I hate it. I don't look like me. I look like some watered down version of me.

Yes? [She wipes her face and gives him a small smile.] I can do that. I will do that.

[She grins.] That is a great idea! I'm bad at lying to him. He can always tell.
