Yeah, Gryffindors wouldn't work it out for ages. They'd be too busy either celebrating the immediate victory or doing something to fix whatever got broke in the process.
My mum and Theo and I think maybe Uncle AJ and possibly some other people are all trying to get on the Board. Maybe you could help them? And there could be a survey in each of the houses to ask what subjects they think aren't covered, and what are covered too much and things like that, so it's a group project, not just what I want.
Any time anything happens, you ask yourself, who is responsible for this, whose agenda are they working towards, and what resources do they have? And then when you know those things, you have to decide if you want to help or hinder them, and what resources you have.
Yeah, but if you know who is doing things, and why, and what they really want, then you can help them. It's like when you do a show, right? The performer wants to give their best performance, but they're only good at singing or acting or whatever, and they don't really know what makes a stage good. But you know all the stage people, so you can get them working together in ways they might never have thought of themselves, and that makes a better show, and that works out for everybody. Nobody is the best at everything by themselves, so the more favours you can do each other, the better everything is for everybody, see?
Okay.

It's a good idea to add some extra options to Hogwarts. Someone should say something.

That's not a bad idea but I really don't think you're the only one who wants this.

I'm not, but I know how Slytherin thinks.

We're very nice people!

That has not always been my experience. But you're nice!

Well, we're mostly nice people. Some people are right Marcus's, but I think that's true in all the houses, really. And Montague got expelled.

I was glad for that at least. He sounded like an entitled bully and that's a dangerous combination.

He hit Sylvie.
