Okay? *Bolly considers him for a moment.* ...oh, you're doing a secret birthday thing for Sylvie. Cool. Yes, I would like to come. Yes, I will keep it a secret.
Okay. Next weekend is the last Quidditch match, so you're doing it this weekend, right, not on the day itself? I should have finished Sylvie's present by then.
*Bolly leads the way.* What are you getting her? I bet Dae's getting jewellery. Maybe earrings? He's good at earrings, and earrings seem like a proper boyfriend present.
Did she name the kitten yet? It's too young for a collar-you should wait until they're at least five or six months old, I think; I'll check with my mum, she'll know-but you could get it a bed with its name on it. Ooh, or a scratching post. Kittens start scratching at about eight weeks, so it's good time to start training them to use the post instead of your stuff.
*He lets them into the auditorium, and then uses his key to get into the work room. It's a mess of props and in construction sets and special effects rigs, although there is a certain method to the madness, with each project's amorphous pile separated into its own little bubble of space.*
No, I don't think she's named the cat yet. I was thinking about a scratching post. I don't know much about cats, really. But Lottie gave me some ideas.
This isn't just me. The whole drama club use it. *Bolly looks around more carefully, and then admits,* Wellll, a lot of it is me. But not all of it. Anyway, come see.
*Under a cover on a work bench at the back is a box which Bolly unlocks with his wand before opening it to reveal a collection of yarns, needles, and craft supplies. From it, he takes a length of crochet that at first probably looks a long and oddly jointed knee sock, until Bolly produces the stuffing, glittering button eyes, and felt forked tongue.*
I know, I know, it's kind of childish. But Sylvie taught me the basics, and, well, despite my efforts, honestly a fuzzy toy snake is the limit of my ability right now. Look, I made the belly different from the top, and I tried to make it look like scales. I've still got to finish the head properly, and stuff him, and the eyes and tongue, obviously. And then I thought maybe a basic animation charm?

Are you actually arranging it, or did you make Dae-Jung do all the work?

Yeah. I can help with food and things? And decorations? I should probably just ask Dae, huh?

Wanna see? It's not finished yet, *he quickly adds, in case Jax had missed that part.* It's in the auditorium work room.
