Dae's dad and Ellie's great grandfather? What's Mister Zabini got to do with anything? He owns the Prophet, you know. He sort of kind of maybe a little wrote in support of my Quidditch Safety petition, but then he didn't do anything with his own teams, so I guess he didn't really care. Um. Sorry, that has nothing to do with your problem. Well, you should just tell your dad that everybody hates Montague because he's a pathetic loser who hits girls like a loser, and dating him will ruin your standing in Slytherin, and everyone will tell their parents, and those parents will stop hiring him to do marketing for them, and he'll lose a lot of money.
I tried telling him some version of that but Mr. Mulciber has convinced him that Sylvie lied about everything. I told my dad I saw Montague hit her but he...he told me men are complicated and it won't happen again. It was all Sylvie's fault.
Oh. *Bolly subsides grumpily into his chair. That ruins that plan, then. Unless...* Could you invite Aunt Mari and Doctor Luc and Ava and Dae along? They'd all tell your dad the truth about Sylvie. *Bolly pulls a face.* Except Dae's dad would know that, and he wouldn't let them come. I guess that just leaves my first plan: fake being sick.
*Bolly waves to get his mum's attention and then points up the road, signing three W's in quick succession. At her nod, he practically drags Val in the direction of Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes.* I get a family discount.
Dragon pox! ...wait, excuse for what?

To get out of dinner with Montague!

What? That's dumb. Why would you have dinner with Montague? He got expelled. You outrank him.

My dad wants me to date him. So I'm supposed to have dinner with him and hos family. My family. The Mulciber's and Blaise Zabini.

Yes!

Your father is stupid. Are you having dinner in public? Somewhere other people can show up?

I think it's at the Mulciber's.

Well, I would hope so. [She lets him drag her, she doesn't mind.]
