Oh, no! Poor Val. But she's not here. I haven't seen her since we met in Diagon Alley. I mean, I said she could come here if she needed somewhere to stay. You know you're dad's trying to make her date Montague even though he's a dumb loser who stalks and hits girls and dating him will ruin her reputation and probably cost your dad business, right?
You should report her missing to the DMLE, because if she's actually missing-missing, then it makes sense to get as much help as possible to look for her. But if she's just with-friends missing, and they find her, you should tell your dad that if he tries to press charges for kidnapping, they'd likely respond by attempting to have him arrested for child abuse. In public. With lots of witnesses. Who will gossip. And you should ask him why he thinks his plan is so great if it makes his daughter run away and risk all her friends just to avoid it. And you should tell him that Cadeyrn Mulciber isn't the only person in the world with a lot of money, and being rich isn't the same as being right, and ask him what he wants his legacy to be. ...and you should tell him that, if he's nice to Val, I would talk nicely about him to my dad. You guys do film and television advertising campaigns, right?
[He just nods. It would be great if that would work but it wouldn't. And there are too many voices whispering in his dad's ear. But he's not sure his would would work with anyone with the the last name Flint.]
I'll talk to my dad. If you see Val, please tell her to call me.
*Bolly is about to say "Then why don't you just Find My Phone her?" before he remembers that, actually, he doesn't want Val found, so instead he just nods.* Okay. If I see her, I will tell her to call you.
She's probably fine, you know. People underestimate her, but they shouldn't. She's had coloured hair in Slytherin for years and more people were mad when she was forced to stop colouring it than they ever were about it, and I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but it really, really is. People actually like Val. You can fake a lot of things, but genuine like? Never.
Why? Did Montague do something?

No. She ran away from home. I've been covering for her but I can't cover anymore and I have to get her home. Father is about to report it to the DMLE.

[He sighs.] I'm aware and I'm trying to fix this. But running away wont help. It will make this worse. Not just for her but anyone helping her.
