I guess. It didn't seem scary at the time. It seems more scary now, which is kind of dumb.

Yesh. We're used to strangers at he Manor, the knife didn't feel like s knife to you and you got distracted by the runes.

The adults pointed out why it was scary later.

JT's dad said he thinks there are more of them than just the two at the Manor. He's worried they want to use one of us to get at Nadya. Nobody's said, but I think maybe they're Pasha's other family. The Russian ones, with all the weapons.

Why would they come back now? They didn't want Nadya.

I don't know! But the Stan guy spoke Russian and he was definitely after Nadya. And if her family don't want her, nobody would try and kidnap her to get at her Russian family, right? But that doesn't seem to leave anyone except her Russian family to come after her. I wish everyone would just tell us everything. Not knowing stuff never helps.

Yeah, but the always say that, even if they have no idea what to do. But I have no idea what to do either, so it's not like I could do something even if I wasn't grounded.
