*Aubrey looks from Cade to the piles of his work on his desk, hesitates for a breath, and the drops his pen on the topmost pile.* Yeah, okay.

I got you a coffee. Or myself two coffees if you don't want a coffee, I guess. *He holds up said coffee and wiggles it temptingly.*

[puremoney]

“I guess”. You would one hundred percent drink both of those coffees if I let you. *He tidies his desk with a casual wand flickety-flick-a technical term!-and holsters it before fetching his coat from the stand.*

Yeah, I would. You're probably doing me a favour not letting me. *Cade would like to casually lean over and kiss Aubrey but alas, bad idea. He just sips on his coffee instead.*

[He wast studying but he'd been at it for a while. He closed his notebook.] Yeah, sure.

I can't remember how often you're supposed to look at things at a distance to rest your eyes, but maybe if we go do that for a while it'll make up for not doing it enough?

I'm not a healer but I know some and I say it can't. Let's go. What're you working on?

[He takes his ear buds out. He's working on his Russian lessons.] Walk? Yeah, sure. [He puts his stuff up] Lead the way.

How's Russian going? You at least have your aunt to practice with, right?

[theministersson]

It's going pretty well. I can practice with her but I kind of want to surprise her her with how well I do. I've practiced a bit with Nadya. She's a good teacher and it's her first language so that helps a lot.

[gaenari]

A native speaker helps a lot, especially if you're okay with the explanation for something being, I don't know why it's like that but I know that's how it is.
