I can't remember how often you're supposed to look at things at a distance to rest your eyes, but maybe if we go do that for a while it'll make up for not doing it enough?
It's going pretty well. I can practice with her but I kind of want to surprise her her with how well I do. I've practiced a bit with Nadya. She's a good teacher and it's her first language so that helps a lot.
A native speaker helps a lot, especially if you're okay with the explanation for something being, I don't know why it's like that but I know that's how it is.
