YES. But if you're going to be in Korea, I'd hold out for the new Sony. I could talk all night about this, let me know if you have any questions.

Actually, I'd LOVE to hear you talk a little more about this. Some things that were particularly drawing me to the Kindle were:
1) the E-ink screen
2) the full Qwerty keyboard for notes and such

On the reading screen (most important, I think) how does the Sony compare? I've never seen one turned on before.

Also, what is the input like? Is it all scroll-and-search, or is there some manner of onscreen keyboard?

Sony is also "e-ink". The old version doesn't have a search function, and now that I have one, I don't think it's such a big deal. The new one is touchscreen/writeable.

More later, I gotta pack and stuff for going out of town this weekend...
