I got all sniffly at the Giles bit and love that Bartleby was keeping Spike up to date.
Poor Loki is a wee bit bitter isn't he? He needs a Spike of his own (or Bartleby obviously)

“Really? You’re glad we’re in contact?” Spike chortled. “I mean, you know, that we’re talking?”

“Yeah. It’s nice.” Spike realized they were at the door to his apartment complex. “I’ll call them.”

Bit of confusion over who's saying what here.

Yeah, I like Giles alot and definitely wanted him and Spike to fix things. Bartleby's a pretty good catch; Loki's got to match up though.

Glad you liked the cheese bit and felt their conversation worked well; it seems like it would be a hard topic.

Yeah, even with Metatron there Loki didn't do so well, huh? He comes around a bit though soon.

I love your Metatron voice hun! I can just picture Alan Rickman saying the lines! Loki is acting very childish and I want to smack him for using Angel and Spike to get back to Bartleby. I hope he’ll come to his senses soon.
I really liked the part where Spike talked about calling Giles. And I bet Giles did miss him. That was very touching. And as always your Angel/Spike interactions are just lovely!

And then Angel began to laugh. Actual, soft, genuine laughter. He looked up at Spike’s shocked face.
Awwww! Happy Angel… Angel laughing is like chocolate ice-cream!!

“Oh, Angelcakes, I’m not here to fight you.”

Thank you! I love writing his character :) Loki has always been childish, but he needs to finally mature! His antics got him nowhere though *g*
Glad you liked the Giles part. I like the relationship between Giles and Spike a lot.

Yup, Angel finally gets to be happy in this fic! Haha :)

And indeed, Lorne joins the story! I love Lorne; I hope others do too...
