I voted. And you should, too.

All of you (Americans) need to make sure that you get out and vote today. Pretty sure it's not a secret who I hope you will vote for (Obama), but, regardless of your candidate of choice is, you absolutely need to vote.

Also, if you're in Massachusetts please vote NO on #1. Repealing the income tax sounds nice in theory, but in all practical ( Read more... )

I think everyone should vote FOR Obama and AGAINST Sarah Palin. But that's just me and my dangerous, liberal ideas.

I'm going to be a wreck all day.

Oh, I totally agree. But I'm attempting to not proselytize because I know there are some people on my FList whose political views are not the same as mine.

However, the thought of Palin anywhere near the presidency terrifies me. I've spent the last few months actively avoiding thinking about the whole issue. And today I get to be alone in the office terrified of what I'm going to find out tonight/tomorrow morning. So we can be wrecks together (though in different states).

I feel you. I really do. Eek.

We may be in different states, but we're still close by!! I'm going out tonight with the Obama people from Albany to bite our fingernails and watch election coverage downtown, one of my roommates was out last weekend Campaigning in Pennsylvania.

I don't know if anyone on my flist is voting against Obama, that's how liberal my friends tend to be. I also found out that my Conservative Aunt from Mass AND her husband (the Hunter who owns many guns) are both voting Obama and I couldn't be happier. I think they're probably voting No on #1 as well, just in case you were wondering, since my Aunt's a CPA ;)

:) I've got class tonight, so I won't be doing anything. Though I'm sure that school will be abuzz with information. It was last night. My constitutional law professor even took the first 20 minutes of class (which was only 50 minutes anyway) to ask if anyone had anything law-related to discuss about the election. Because she's been obsessed with it (which we all knew anyway, haha).

I know that some are, though my friends generally tend to be quite liberal, but I'd still like to at least convince myself that I'm not trying to influence anyone else too much. But yay for your aunt and her husband!!!!

I voted! And I have the sticker to prove it! I will also be getting my free Ben and Jerry's and my free Starbucks at some point. :)

Yeah, Question 1 was a no-brainer. I think most people get it now with the horrible state of the economy that we can't just rip the carpet out from under the state budget like that. The other two questions made me think a little bit, but I feel like I made the right choices.

I forgot to get my free Ben & Jerry's. Oh well. And I didn't get a sticker either :( Ah well.

And I am so psyched that #1 didn't pass. Question 3 made me think, but I wasn't going to be upset one way or the other since I didn't know a whole lot about the whole situation in general.

I already commented on someone else's lj post as well, but I'll say it here too: WHAT ABOUT QUESTION 3??? Why the FUCK is greyhound racing still legal? There are no positives about it!

Oh yeah, and Yes on question 2 too ;)

PS I hate John Kerry and don't even know who I voted for, but it wasn't him...

PPS I voted Obama

PPPSSSSSPSPSP I got your voicemail and I was at work and I know I need to call you back, I'm just leading a busy life (maybe tonight after the Obama win?)
