i will never have a relationship

oh, so icky.

i hung out with kyle last night- first time in person, one-on-one.
too bad my face was spasming so i couldn't really talk.
but we talked about you a little bit. or, i wrote on a notepad some stuff. and he responded verbally.

if kyle was involved, than i'm sure the subject, no matter
what it was initially, strayed to either james bond or cuca's. and
then you laughed and went along with whatever grass-clippings he
threw at you. and nothing really came of it. jesus, i miss kyle. and i have mustered up enough courage to seduce him the next time i see him because damned if it wouldn't be hilarious to fuck that guy. do you know when you might be able to socialize with the mouth part of your face, because i'm looking to head up there soon and you are definitely on the list of people i deem worthy to share a bucket seat with?

My dad died before I was born. In a sense, that's a blessing. I'll never see him do gross things. He's forever a saint.

i love that you exist, you know. because even though our interaction has been limited to a garland of words tossed willy-nilly about the computer machine, i feel like you're really alive. you're not somebody walking around in ill-fit trousers, tucking your newspaper under your arm, blissfully set to "default mode."

i wish i lived near you. so i could be sure about what i just typed. and when i became very sure, we could fall down for no good reason and then laugh at people who have a good reason. (polio)

Ironically, our visuals editor had polio as a child and fell down a few weeks ago while on vacation. He broke his arm and will be out for several more weeks.
