There's no place like home ...

I've found somewhere to live! ... well, sort of. Had a few viewings of properties this week here in Brighton. Saw one today which is just up the road from where my brother stays, which is also about a minutes walk from the college I'll be attending. Convenient.

Not only that but it comes fully furnished! And it looks plush. Check out these photos:

Does look and sound very nice indeed, congratulations. Quite a bit of money, but it seems worth it.

Yeah, we could have gone for a cheaper place, but that would have been unfurnished, and if you think about the time and money it would take to furnish it ourselves, and get it up to the top floor on narrow stairs and crap ... this is just loads more convenient that way. Plus if we do ever decide to move out (one or both of us), then there's less to take with us.

But yeah, it's awesome ^_^

If you can pitch in £200 cash-in-hand per month, I'll consider the use of a sofa :)

That's (scarily) not a bad price for a two bedroom place in Brighton, my friends who live there pay a bit more than that and their "second bedroom" is tiny!

So what part of Brighton is it in? Kemptown? Or have you gone for the poshness of Hove? lol!

Yeah, Kemp town. And I always thought Hove was cheaper ... unless you're being facetious. I'm tired :(

Hove is actually the really posh bit - way more expenaive than the rest of Brighton. Well it always used to be anyway!

Kemptown is great. It has the best bars and cafes etc. It's one of the few places in the UK I would consider moving to - you'll have a great time living there.

Yeah, although the bars can be a bit on the pricey side :| I'd rather go to the Walkabout Inn near the Odeon Cinema ... Tooheys Extra Dry australian lager on a cheap day **drools**

Hmm, that was rather gross.

I think places in Hove to let have gone down in price, since they seem to whack up the price on places that are 'centrally located' to all the shops and busy stuff. No idea about homes to buy in Hove though.
