aaaah I didn't even realise Therapy? were still going much less touring, if I'd have known I would so have gone to see them (if they'd played London that is) so many of my happiest (and drunkest)gig memories are of Therapy? I really must start buying NME more often - for the gig ads.

Sorry to hear about the depression (I'm kind of responding to all your posts in one go - sorry) if you need any advice in dealing with the DSS email me I may (cough) know someone (cough) who works on the specific benefit i guess you may be on (cough) who altho they don't work in your local office they may be able to impart general advice. It's not me tho (cough) of course not I just have a cold ;)

I should be ok. I sent them a photocopy of the certificate because I wanted to keep the original, posisbly to send to my union, but DSS have sent it back saying "we want original. ta." ... which is odd, as they accepted a photocopy when I first signed up for a claim.

Anyway, original should be with them wednesday, I hope.

They'll only accept a photocopy if its done at a job centre and stamped by them. Yeah i know its dumb but thems the rules, however, if you want a copy for other purposes include a note with any further certs asking for a copy and they should send you a bright shiny governmentally endorsed copy complete with a pretty office stamp and if they don't you can phone up and moan.
Gosh what a mine of information my "friend" (cough) is. Damn cold thought it had cleared up ;)
