so i dropped out of fordham and with not that much money in my pocket decided that i was going to set out and do the nearly impossible.  i was going to establish myself to a point where i could survive independently in nyc.   without anyone (or any bank accounts) to depend on in the process of establishment.  anyway, a drug addiction, 50 gazillion

hey, havent commented in a while, or even talked to ya for that matter, but i feel like you could use some advice. all i have to say is just do what feels right. if staying in nyc feels like the best thing, FOR YOU! then stay, but if it doesnt, then leave. your friends should understand if they are truly your friends. ^-^

i have to agree with julia. i think you just need to leave and start over. even with all the success you've achieved (acutally LIVING on your own, which is amazing) it isn't enough to make you happy, in fact its making you miserable, and its just not worth it.

Its not running away either. You did it, you dropped out, and you made it. I dont know how many people could ever do that at 19. But at this time in your life, what you're doing right now just isn't right, and its time to find somewhere you can exist and be happy. You deserve to be happy.

You've got lots of friends who support you. Dont ever doubt that.
