It's time for a rest.

I planted some lettuce, beans, carrots, chicory, nicotinna, calendula, chrysanthemum, nasturtium, and a plethora of other seeds about a week ago. Maybe it's been longer. Shortly after that, I began the next painting project

I didn't add anything to the soil for the calendula. I wonder if I should have. Truthfully, this is my first real garden. I'm planting seeds and starts here and there and hoping for the best. I got a really late start this year, but I intend to do a bit more planning later this summer so that I can get seeds down in the fall and have a realistic plan for next spring's plantings, too.
