"Somewhere Else" continues to grow on me. I'm at the point where I still think Most Toys and Last Century Of Man are crap, but everything else is good to great. I've even changed my position on the drawn out second half of The Wound. It's such an odd shift from the tempo of the first half of the song, but the imagery and sonic details are too ( Read more... )

Not yet! I only get paid once a month, so my album buying follows a similar timeframe. It's #1 on my list for this coming week, though, along with the new Rush album. I think that one's out this week, anyway...

What do you think of the new PT?? I've heard good & bad reviews so far.

It's pretty good. Not as immediately gripping as 'In Absentia', which is still my favorite of the Atlantic albums. But it's quite good I think, well balanced between heavy crunch and more delicate bits, the heavy stuff is fairly sparse compared to recent things. It's a very lean album as well, it's only 6 tracks and sort of LP-length, so there's not really much filler. Dark, though.
