Ran LARP on Saturday - went well. We need more players or this is going to be a 3 ST table top game.

Hopefully new year will get more warm bodies to show up.

Didn't make more oatmeal. Need to do that tonight.

Other than that - still alife.

We're down to 8 or so regulars which, yha. We're even running owod vampire but the main issue is that the Cam is pulling off a number of people - not that that's necessarily a bad thing but the venue is small enough that new people are getting plenty of quality time with less than eloquent individuals.

No worries - I've got some ideas I just don't think they're really worth trying until the holidays are over.

I do hope that the player population will pick up -- I remember there being more than just 8-10 people out there who wanted to game, and if you've got a good alternative to the Camarilla games, stress it and show them how your game is different and why it's better.

Personally, and no offense, I never really understood the appeal of the Camarilla games, outside of the "I can go anywhere and game with anyone!" Yes, that is appealing -- but it also means my character and games and plots have to run through layers of bureaucracy and approvals; I can't just do what I want, allow what I want, and so on. (Of course, this might have changed; I have no idea what the bureaucracy of the current Cam is.)

(And yes - "less than eloquent individuals." Love that phrase. It's been, what, six years since I was out there? And he *still* hasn't gotten any better at expressing himself? Yeesh!)
