so if you get the keys on 5/1 and i'm already planning on taking my birthday plus one other day off next month, should that extra day be on one direct side or other of birthday or on 5/1 to help with movingness?

Movingness is not going to be immediate.. I'm not 100% relinquishing the current apartment until 6/1 since I paid first, last and deposit when I moved in. Also we are hiring actual mover-type people to do the heavy lifting.

oh very posh, you with your actual movers. i always thought the point of moving was everyone gets all sweaty and then you have pizza and beer, and all that's left is the pizza and beer if you're paying people to do the sweaty bits.

Hell no. I believe in making professionals do my lugging and always have. Especially considering there's two flights of stairs and, ya know, some substantial furniture and stuff.

The point of moving is getting people to come to a housewarming and bring STUFF. :D
