CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS
A LA CANON!
{ZIDANE TRIBAL}
• This thief has long since stolen her heart. He is Dagger's one and only;
it is in large parts because of him that she became the person she is today.
He showed her the world, what life could really be like, and even if his flirtatious
streak and his habit of shielding her does tend to spark her ire, there is no one
else who she wants.They've been through a lot together, and she would trust him
with her life.Though she hasn't worked up the courage to tell him how she feels
(back on Gaia, their destinies are threatening to keep them apart, since she is
royalty and he is a commoner) it is plain to see for anyone who spends longer
than a minute together with them that she is very much in love with him. •
A LA MAYFIELD!
{PAMELA IBIS}
• Though they have just met, Garnet is already quite fond of the ghastly
Pamela. It could be that her childlike, chirpy nature reminds her of Eiko from
back home, but Garnet has really taken to her role as the girl's older sister.
She feels the urge to protect her from all the horrible things Mayfield has to
offer, regardless of the fact that she has already lived (Well, sorta. You have
to be alive to live, don't you?) much longer than she has. Pamela also
provides Garnet with the priceless opportunity to interact with a girl her age,
something she sorely lacks back home at the palace. •
{SPLENDID}
• Their friendship is by far one of the most bizarre, and borders on abusive,
though Garnet would never believe that. She finds Splendid charming, and
though he was nearly the death of her when he tried (and failed) to fly off
of his rooftop, Garnet never blamed him for the tragic incident, choosing
instead to comfort him in his final moments. When blood and guts aren't
involved, chances are Garnet is laughing at one of Splendid's jokes. She
really admires his superhero mentality, the way that the negative just seems
to roll off of his shoulders. His blatant disregard for danger does worry her,
though, and she gets the feeling he'll be needing more of her Cure spells
in the future...she just might, too, if she keeps on hanging out with him. •
{HOPE ESTHEIM}
• After learning that, holy crap, Hope can summon the Eidolon Alexander,
Garnet has found a great way to relate to him. She finds the way he stammers
rather charming, and finds that she greatly enjoys talking to him, even if it
is a little awkward at times. •
{EDWARD ELRIC}
• Garnet really admires how mature Ed seems, as well as how deeply he cares
for his brother. The fact that Zidane trusts him and considers him a friend makes
Garnet at ease around him. Overall, she considers him a good acquaintance,
and wouldn't mind getting to know him better.•

{MISAKA MIKOTO}
• They have only spoken once, and briefly, but Garnet's first impression
was not a negative one. Though she struck her as blunt, the fact that Misaka
seemed willing to provide Garnet with information about Mayfield upon
her arrival to the town makes her a trustworthy acquaintance. •
{JECHT}
• Out of all the people she has met in Mayfield, Jecht is who she has bonded to
the most. As shocking as it may be, because he seems so gruff and she looks
so delicate, opposites have attracted in this case. He has promised to be her
guardian, though Garnet would also endanger herself to ensure that Jecht was
safe. He has become a very paternal figure in her life, and though she is
tender and romantic, while he plays the tough guy, Jecht is a source of comfort
and strength for her, and she greatly admires the sacrifices that he has made.
Though she does not like to be helpless or constantly protected by others,
she is very grateful for how infinitely kind he's been since he found her lying
broken on his front lawn. But because several incidents have now involved
him having to protect or save her, Garnet is eager to show Jecht that she can
be strong too. Now that she's on his blitzball team, she wants to make him
proud. The ties that bind them, that of the summoner's bond to her guardian,
are deeply cemented now. They are a team, each other's strength,
and you can't hurt one without hurting the other. •
{UKRAINE}
• With Ukraine's gentle, motherly demeanor and Garnet's serene disposition,
these two were meant to get along famously. Garnet really trusts the country,
and though she had a stormy relationship with her adoptive mother, this has
not prevented her from growing very fond of Ukraine. She still feels a little bad
about accusing her of kidnapping her the day she awoke in Mayfield, and
is determined never to have a misunderstanding with Ukraine ever again. •
