The "Big Kahuna" of All Updates...

Jun 15, 2009 08:42

Hello everyone, and welcome back! I've been a busy little beaver these last couple of weeks; I'm still getting caught up on backorders and now that a lot of the heavy work is done I'll keep cranking out replies and delivering packages.

There are a lot of new changes at the Nook; please click the LJ-cut to see what's up! ( ... )

I'm glad to hear that you've got some help! I always wondered how you were able to take care of so many orders at those cons. And your prices are still lower than getting stuff on ebay! I've heard that JPQueen is closing down (??), so if that's true you're all I have left, lol! So I'm really glad that the Little Nook is still going strong and doing well. :)

(Oh, and I totally got my last order in the mail really quickly! Thank you again! :D)

JPQueen is closing? That's too bad, because they've got such a good reputation and always stocked nice doujinshi. I did some searching after seeing your post and hopefully the owners will still stay in business, because people need affordable ways to buy doujinshi, ne? And competition is good! *lols*

(And you're more than welcome...if any nice FF7 works pop up that you'd like I'd be glad to pick them up for you again!)

The revamp to your site looks good! And the pricing index makes it easy to find and follow too.

I'm glad you have more help on hand now and hopefully this will lighten your load considerably.

Welcome back and can't wait to see what other changes you have planned ^^.

Awww, Thanks! :) the_little_nook June 20 2009, 05:03:41 UTC
This was my first time messing around with Wordpress, but it was fairly easy to get the hang of. You're always sending me the nicest entries and email and I can't say how much I appreciate it. :P

We're slowly getting things rolling and I'm fiendishly answering e-mails and comments...and how's your summer going? I'll bet it's cooler down there than it is up here!

Hi Alicia! Glad to see you back! :D Hopefully the help will help you with your load (I'm still in awe at what you do *_*), and your services will be as awesome as ever! And the new website looks really awesome too! :Db

I'll be sure to catch you again for Comiket~ Giving orders a pass this time because I'll be heading to Japan next month! Lots of things for me to grab in person. ^_^

All the best! Catch you around soon!

ps: I can't remember if I let you know, but I did receive the Travel Theater works in perfect condition. Thank you so much! They're adorable, and now, even both my sister and mother finds SuFin utterly adorable. ^_^

Heyas, long time no see, how are you? And you're coming to Japan next month, woo hoo! If I may ask...where are you headed and how long are you staying? And are you used to hot, humid climates--because you're coming in the dead middle of summer, and it gets pretty intense outside! o.O

I'll keep my eyes peeled for your Comiket request, and I <3 the fact that your mother and sister both like Travel Theater...their style is to die for and I can't wait to see what they're going to come up with in the next few months. ^_^

I'm very good, thank you! I'll be in Tokyo, alas. My Osaka/Kyoto trip got vetoed by the parental units due to H1N1. They almost stamped down on my whole trip. ;_; But I'll have a glorious 10 days in Tokyo, so I'll be happy! Going to meet up with a few friends there, and I'll probably be bringing a Hetalia costume and take some costumes with them!

I live in Singapore, and we celebrate summer all year round here, I'll be fine. \o/ For example, right now it's 33C outside, whoooo. /drinks iced juice

\o/ I will be eternally grateful! Thank you so much! When I come back from Japan, I will have a list of things to pass to you. ♥ And you can bet Travel Theater is right on that list. ;)

Ten days, awesome! The H1N1 scare was pretty sobering, but everything's died down and things are back to normal now, thank goodness. And you've got a ton of things to see and do--are you planning on seeing the life-size Gundam while you're there?

33C?! I'm originally from Minnesota and these crazy summers are like "an oven crossed with a sauna"--the heat is brutal, but bearable. You're lucky to be acclimated to the weather so easily.... *grins and cranks her AC back on*

It's hard to believe that Comiket's only a couple of months away, isn't it? Time flies so freakin' quickly these days! :)
