Hello there! The doujinshi event calendar is preparing to self-combust in the next couple of weeks. Two great events are on the horizon; the first is Tokyo's Haru Comic City 14, held on Sunday, March 15th

Good to know you're going to Harucomi, I was actually just last week wondering if you’d you be going (the status thing at you profile said that you’re considering so I wasn’t sure). I have a couple of doujinshis that I’d like you get for me, but I haven’t sorted out yet what those are, I have way too many options. I’ll tell you in a couple of days what I deside.
Don’t worry about the Kuroshitsuji figurines (at least if it's because of me), I ended up ordering it a bit over a week ago from yesasia.com ‘cause I hadn’t heard anything from you. It sounds strange that you haven’t found the figures anywhere since they came out about two weeks ago. If you just want to know what they look like in RL I could take pictures of mine when they arrive.
Oh and I ended up eating the choco, it took me two weeks but in the end I caved and ate it (but I saved the wrappingpaper). Dunno if it was worth it, wasn't that delicious but what's done is done, no use crying over it.
Heyas, and I want to apologize for any misunderstandings that arose over the Kuroshitsuji figurines. I stop at the stores 2-3 times a week and was wondering why I wasn't seeing any notices...they had Hetalia and the latest chibi!Gundams, but alas, nothing. *bows* I am so glad you were able to get them though and if it's not too much trouble YES, I would love to see pictures! I ♥ figurines and would avidly collect them but am afraid of overwhelming my small apartment with too much stuff.
I'm impressed that you held out for a couple of weeks...I can binge on chocolate like there's no tomorrow! *blushes* And don't worry if you need a few days to narrow down your choices, because we've still got plenty of time...HaruComi's 9 days away, although it can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned! ^_^

No need to apologize, I probably should have contacted and asked you if you were still alive. Sorry to have made all your hard work into nothing. It's really strange that you haven't seen/ heard anything 'cause the figurines have been out since mid February. Maybe they sold out really fast? Of course I'll send you pictures, as soon as they arrive. They were shipped last friday so the should be here some time next week (hopefully). I just resently got into figurines and am already facing the problem of not enough shelf space vs too many figurines. And talk about the problem of too much stuff, I can't wait to move into a bigger apartment.
Oh yes, the reason I started to write this comment... I have a listdraft of the things I want

Damn, I totally forgot that I was supposed to finalize my 'shopping list' for you. Ehehe. Sorry. Well, I blame my natural blondeness. Anyway, the list still keeps but I'm adding a 6 and 7 to it.
6. Katekyo Hitman Reborn - Byakuran/Tsuna or if you can't find anything (since the pairing is pretty rare), Byakuran/Shoichi or Mukuro/Tsuna doujin 7. Gintama - Hijikata/Okita
Oh and the Kuroshitsuji figurines arrived today! They are so pretty! I'll take pictures for you tomorrow and gush some more. Would have taken the pics today but I've misplaced my camera again so I have to search for it. Why is this place so messy...
You'll ship the doujins via SAL for me again (this time the real SAL not EMS, though I wouldn't complain...)? Please?
Hello, nice to meet you, and sorry to keep you waiting! I was looking at 1985's site and I believe I see three Neo Angelique doujinshi: "Joy to the Destiny" and "Twinkling Star", both in the "Offline" section, and "Sunny Sunny Sunny!", their newest title that's listed in their blog.
I'm not familiar with Neo Angelique, but did I pick the right doujinshi? And registered email is no problem, but if it's okay I'd like to get an actual quote on your package before I charge you for shipping.
And here's your estimate:
//---
1. "Joy to the Destiny" (1985): $15 + shipping TBD (To be determined) 2. "Twinkling Star" (1985): $15 + shipping TBD 3. "Sunday Sunday Sunday!" (1985): $15 + shipping TBD
Subtotal, doujinshi: $45
Shipping: TBD
Total: $45 + TBD
My Paypal address is details@thelittlenook.com, and by purchasing you're acknowledging that you're over 18 years old and not violating your local obscenity laws.
1985. has now got a Spring Event info page. From what I can read, I think there's an issue with [Sunny! Sunny! Sunny!]? And it seems that there's only a few copies left of the other two doujin.
Well any het pairings with Naoto or Chie involved. I'm not particularly keen on any het pairings with Yukiko or Rise unless the art is absolutely stunning (though I know it might be hard to anticipate what I might find "stunning").
Yuri is great too, but again, only if it involves Naoto or Chie.
Ah, I know - I'll put them into a sort of priority list. :) 1. Het featuring Naoto or Chie 2. Yuri featuring Naoto or Chie 3. Het/Yuri featuring Yukiko or Rise with stunning art (like, of a sort of Tony Taka or Nise Midi Doronokai level, if you know who they are).
Nah, you don't have too many rules at all...this way I know what you're really looking for. I'll keep my eyes peeled at HaruComi and if I see any good ones, I'll bring them back...expect an update in about 36 hours or so! *waves*
Well, that's a good question! I've seen Persona 2 sections in the stores, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for them at the convention. Are there any particular characters you like?
Hello, and long time no see! How have you been? I'm excited about the convention this weekend too--I took a vacation day and won't have to work until after HaruComi, and that's a good feeling. :)
"Reunion"'s a gorgeous anthology and you wouldn't believe the prices it's been selling for at the shops. I'd ask $35 for it, and there's no price listing for "Collect", so I'd have to pick it up and bill you after the event, if that's okay.
The same thing goes for shipping. This would be a heavy package and I'd like to get a quote at the post office for you...sorry to be so vague, but this is the best I can do with the limited information at the moment--if you have any questions, just ask! *waves*
I'm glad you'll have some extra time around the convention to relax and enjoy. ^^
Ehehe, about 3000-4000 yen at the consignment shops' online listings and 3000 upwards (such as 6000 yen) on Yahoo!Auctions, last I knew. XD; Kiki's works always have sexy lines and a sensual kind of violence. :) I have a few of her djs.
Thanks a lot for the quote! ^^ Oh, and hey, Non-ya's listed the price for "Collect" in her blog at 1000 yen.
After thinking on it, I think I'll leave Reunion this time for Collect and "Unfair Child" on your Hetalia listings (by 09011) if that's alright?
I'd like airmail this time and I'm assuming Collect is your standard $15... so I should owe you $47 for the two djs and airmail shipping? (15 + 20 + 6 + 6) Let me know. I realize it's 6 PM Saturday now in Japan, so I'll shoot you my guessed advance before I sleep (within the next hour) in case I don't hear from you. Thanks!
A HaruComi Update...the_little_nookMarch 17 2009, 05:08:24 UTC
Heyas, and thank you for your payment! I was able to accommodate your last-minute request and picked up "Collect" for you as well. You're pretty sharp! The total came to $47 and depending on how much time I have left before work today I'll ship your doujinshi either this afternoon or tomorrow.
And I'd totally agree about kiki's works--I don't think I've ever seen a title of hers that wasn't a stunner. Thanks again and you should be getting a little note from me soon! *waves*

That's fine with me. ^ ^
I have $40 left on my prepaid VISA, so I've sent that. Um, may I pay the rest when I receive shipping prices? Thanks. ^ ^

I am interested in two doujinshi so far...
Kiki - Reunion (Reprint)
http://kikihype.web.fc2.com/inf/inf.html
Non-ya - Collect (Reprint)
http://azunon.web.fc2.com/index-d.html#off
These two are reprints and probably more though, so I am wondering if you could let me know how much...? Thanks!
