Thanks!

And I don't know about anyone else, but I never even noticed the framed photograph in this episode before now! I mean, that other one we see, just tacked up, that's one thing. But this one's giant! And in a frame! That takes work and thought.

Totally. It looks like it was taken during Fight the Future, too. Though I suppose we could just say it was during one of those lame non-X-files jobs they had to do. I like the idea that it was Mulder who framed it. He's got enough framed photos of Samantha around his desk and house, he obviously knows how to frame things that are dear to him.

Oh, and I love Scully sitting at his desk too, btw. My favorite time for that is E.B.E. though. When she licks that pen and automatically starts putting in a re-fill and Mulder thinks it's remotely plausible that someone might think she's hot (duh, he only lets the hot partners sit at the DESK, Scully)... and then she finds the bug and he grabs her wrist to look closely at it... *SIGH*

Ha, I was just saying that to J, while trying to explain to her where she needed to look to see the picture. He's got two identically framed pictures of Samantha, one at his apartment and one at the office. He's a bit of a weirdo, but that's okay.

YES. Except...I think she's sitting at her desk in that scene? And not his? Don't quote me on it, though.

But yeah, I love how she stops talking and he turns around and is all, "What?" And there's no real reason he needs to hold onto her wrist like that, but he does! Man, E.B.E. is the best.

ALSO: On a completely shallow note, Mulder’s stomach is INSANE. Let's all pause together and look at it for a little while.
Ohhhh. Damn. I stared at it for quiiiite awhile, and that's hot. Ridiculously so. (Can you tell I've lost every coherant thought in my head now?)

Also: is that translucent bar across the headboard solely there for the purpose of handcuffs? I think it might be.
I hope so ;)

There's a framed picture of Mulder and Scully in FBI jackets in their office.
I never noticed that before! That is just delightful! And, gosh, I totally agree with that scenario. I can just imagine Mulder framing that and putting it there, then Scully seeing it and being secretly thrilled. Oh, them.

The lady with the bangs in the bank is the worst possible person to be stuck in a hold-up with. She will not shut the fuck up.
I was getting ready to kill this bitch, for serious (and same with the bank teller! HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET? I can't even comprehend).

Duchovny does a pretty amazing job not only at the basic mechanics of the waterbed ( ... )

I'm not kidding, it always takes me, like, two hours to watch this episode because there's no way to stop myself from pausing every two seconds.

I'm pretty sure I'd never noticed it, either! I mean, there's the one on the bulletin board that we see another time, but this one's huge! And framed! Check out Zellie's picture above that's closer--it's even more adorable when you can actually see it. The way Mulder's pointing!

I don't know, it just fills me with glee how their relationship moves forward, with so much being unspoken, but both kind of unconsciously heading towards the same conclusion.ME, TOO. You know, there's a lot about the back and forth, hot and cold nature of S6 that bugs the hell out of me, but since I've just been watching the "good" ones, I'm all, THEY'RE IN LOOOOVE and ( ... )

Oh, definitely. I mean, I really try to be serious when watching this, since serious things are happening and people are getting shot and all, but all the shirtlessness does not make it easy!
