So I just played a game of Magic: the Gathering that took over an hour to finish. On the phone.
Reasons why it took so long: roughly a million creatures in play, and something like 5,000 enchantments out which all require the players to remember what the heck each of them does since they can't actually see them. Plus the need to restate every action twice, because who can remember that you're being attacked with a 3/4, a 2/1, a 2/2, a 3/3, and five 1/1's after just one hearing? Add to this an inexplicable desire to let the game continue until all decks were used up, just to see what it looked like in the end.
Basically, it was insane. But a whole ton of fun. ;)
I have taken the liberty of attaching a picture below of my side of the game, conveniently charted with arrows and labels for anyone who's interested in that sort of thing.
Note: I didn't have any "tokens," so I just grabbed whatever was within reach.
