Congratulations, Rookie! I'm very excited about you living within driving distance. You'll only be like a four hour drive away! That's totally doable on some weekend or another.

Also, Rookie, your art is so good. I'm especially in love with and impressed by the sketch of the fellow in the suit - the line of his back, his cheek bones, the way the cloth is pulled - it's so good. SO GOOD. And the coloring on the piece above that also shows a really excellent bone and muscle structure in his face and arms. You're kind of a god damn hero.

Not that I ever, you know, knew you terribly well back at college or anything, but it's always good to hear that a fellow BSFFA alumni is doing well. And your bottom Celtic knot is amazingly pretty.
