Right so more detail before I remember as I'm about to go to sleep. The market itself is a variety of gifts stalls with a few selling hot food and drink as you wonder.
Gift stalls in Glasgow include: Jumpers, jackets and hats made from Llama wool, Fake Snow, Hungarian Woodcraft (chess sets and bank boxes), Norwegian Woodcraft (dragons and cats and random insects), Crystals, Costume jewellery, Cheeses from the Shetland Isle, Whiskys from the Hebrides, Funky bags, Gothic clothing, Socks, T-shirts with random things printed on them, Fairtrade stuff and Oriental fans and scrolls. Oh! And German, Austrian and Hungarian Christmas decorations. Food and Drink stalls include: Garlic Bread, WURST!, Mulled Wine, Burgers made from: Wild Boar, Crocodile, Ostrich and Zebra, Spanish food stall (paella and what not) and a German sweet stall complete with German cuties.
Like I said it'd only be a temp thing (maybe even just a week or two) but we could get a few things out of it like folk being forced to eat crocodile burgers. Not entirely sure where
( ... )
Ok screw bowling, what do you think of GIANT PAINTBALL FIELD. May be good for a group thread or whoever wants to just let out their goddamn anger by shooting strangers in the crotches with multi-colored paint balls.
We need a Latino area. With stores, restaurants, and general hangout spots for my Mexican, Central American, and South American bruthas and sistas. Oh, plus some Portuguese and Brazilian stuff, too. For Luciano so he's not ronery.
As for what should be there? I already have a few ideas but we need MORE.
It should basically have a plaza/street market (a la Olvera Street), a botánica, a discoteca (nightclub or a general music/media store, it's all good), un salon (read: a banquet hall for those quinceañeras, weddings, birthdays, and flyer parties), a mom and pop party supply store, a pupuseria, a raspado shop, and a Catholic Church for Liberty's Spanish speakers.
