Today was...a wreck. I stayed after school to audition for a movie some kids are doing, and was having a blast doing it. I get a phone call in the middle of a reading but luckily it was on vibrate. Turns out it was my mom with the worst bit of news of gotten since my great grandmother died. Thomas Saia, whom I've known since I was five, is dead

It never ceases to amaze me to hear that people get so down. I was depressed for years, three of my best friends have attempted suicide... and yet... it never ceases to amaze me.

You're right, and you put it rather eliquently that there is a better solution. and I hope that no one ever taes you up on your offer to be there for them, solely because I hope you never have to be.
