♛ in depth
Personality: It’s easy to say that Lilith is incredibly difficult to get along with. She’s arrogant and introverted-and if that isn’t a bad mix, it’s hard to say what is. Stubborn, greedy, selfish, and rude, she tends to stay quiet, unless something you’ve said has perked her interest. That’s when she begins to get nasty. It becomes about getting what she wants, as soon as she wants it, and with her stubbornness as it is, it’s almost impossible to convince her that what she wants isn’t worth it. And occasionally, it becomes almost impossible to convince others not to give her what she wants, too. Because, by no means is Lilith above using her good looks to take advantage of those who might fall for it. She isn’t afraid of seducing men to her wiles because, in her mind, she can control them completely without worry. And she never feels guilty about it either.

But she isn’t entirely bad.

Every now and then, Lilith will take a liking to someone or something, and instead of treating it with intentional rudeness; she treats it with a type of tough-love. Behind her rough words, she’ll give advice and lessons that aren’t meant to insult, and are only meant to help. She isn’t very aware of how she treats people over all, however, feeling that it is simply what’s necessary to get to her goals in life. So though people aren’t automatically pawns to her, give her good reason to think you might have something of value to her, and your position can very quickly change.

Ability: Phasewalking-When using this ability, there are three things Lilith gains; invisibility, power, and exceptional speed. While all three last in only short bursts, the power behind it is quite exceptional. Very few* can see her, and she can easily run half a mile in half a minute. Should she choose to attack anyone, as well, her strength is double that what it normally is-though as soon as she touches something, she exits the phasewalk. When she exits, however, there’s another effect. Naturally, she emits a shockwave that usually stumbles those around her, but, when she collects various element combinations and wears them on her person, the shockwave could become bursts of flame, electricity, corrosive materials or simply an even stronger energy burst.
There are a few downsides to the power she has. It only lasts for maximum one minute (and that’s stretching it), and it takes six minutes until she can use it again, and, other than flesh, she can’t actually touch objects. Though the floor and most obstacles stay solid, small things such as pencils, papers, and such are completely unusable to her while she stays in her phasewalk.

*There are only five other people out there who can see her, and those are five women who, along with Lilith, call themselves Sirens. They all share the same power, which makes them feel a bond to each other. Each Siren has a tattoo across their left side, and down their left arm to mark them as such.

AU Background: Growing up poor in the desert town near Mayfil, Centra, Lilith was constantly told and comforted by stories of a planet far off from this one. One that had a magical vault on it filled with wealth, alien technology, and immeasurable treasures. It was named Pandora, and though it was a planet covered in wastelands and desert, this secret vault held things with values of billions of dollars. It was a sign of hope for her all through her early years…

Until she grew old enough to know better.

Nothing like that could ever exist, she learned towards the end of her childish years. The technology on her own planet had constantly improved, and though they had probed space for alien life, they found none. There was no planet named Pandora out there, let alone a planet with an amazing vault filled with riches. It was only a bedtime story to calm hungry little girls on those long nights when daddy’s trade business lost out that month. So, she decided she would have to become strong and wealthy on her own, without any help from some stupid legend. But starting at the bottom was tough, and her way of building up her strength started with simple skirmishes with the local group of boys in between long hours of self-tutoring. And, as time went on, she spent less time brawling, and more time studying, choosing to empower herself with knowledge instead of physical strength.

And then, around when she turned eleven, her power emerged. She found herself capable of turning invisible for short amounts of time-a valuable skill to have in battle, though her relatives and anyone whom she had once considered a friend began to shun her. Suddenly, she found herself testing her powers out on the streets again, but this time, she used a combination of her knowledge and her ability. Beating those street urchins became easy when they couldn’t see her. But that power eventually attracted the attention of some of the more dangerous gangs out there who wanted to use her. Lilith wasn’t about to let that happen, but there was little way to avoid that in the secluded town she lived in.

So she left-and attempted to find her own way in the world at the young age of thirteen however she could. Though she came in contact with someone else with her same power-and this person told her stories about how there could only six women with their exact power at a time, committing her to a life as a Siren-her freedom didn’t last long. The newly founded Siren was left with a choice, return to her town, or attend Estrasia Academy-they had sent her a letter while she had been on the move. It seemed obvious which choice she would take.

The first year went quickly enough, and she soon learned that she could find permanent housing on the Floating Island, which was exactly what she wanted until she could leave the school for good. They had tied her down with a four-year contract, and, though it had seemed like a good option at the time, it wasn’t what she wanted anymore. She wanted to be on the move, finding herself getting richer and more powerful as time went on and Estrasia limited this. What was once a safe haven for a young girl was now a prison for a young woman. And by her third year, she was sick of her life there. It was time for a well-deserved change. Then the earthquakes started.

Lilith couldn’t be more excited.

Appearance: Though Lilith may appear to be tall because of the way she holds herself and her attitude, she’s actually quite average in height, perhaps even on the small side (probably shorter than 5’5”). It doesn’t make her easy to miss though. Her short hair is a brilliant red, parted to the left. The long fringe that hangs in her face, however, fades to white towards the tips. And, though it isn’t enough to hide her mustard-yellow coloured eyes, it masks some of her intensity. The next thing many notice is the tattoo that marks her as a Siren. A light blue, the lines trace circles and curves that travel from her left shoulder down to her left leg, and across the center of her chest.

However, while she normally wears things that are relatively low maintenance and out-of-the-way-she’s a big fan of jeans, leather, and canvas-she will dress up a bit for school. Sure there won’t be any white, starched blouses or neatly pleated, knee-length skirts, but she certainly won’t wear a tank top and micro-minis.

Injuring/Maiming: Warn me first. But. I’ll always say yes.
Killing: Please warn me first, but I’ll say yes.
Hugging, Kissing, etc.: Lolololol Yes. I can't promise she'll be extremely receptive though.
Deaging, Genderswapping, etc.: :Db! Warn me first?
Mindreading: Suuuuuure. Her mind is pretty simple, actually. Most of those thoughts are about finding her next bounty, or that interesting place she heard of in El with all that treasure... You're sure to find her mostly thinking about how to get money or power.
